Silent Picture: Dai Mouyu, Sun Yu, Yang Yongliang

The works of the artists Dai Mouyu, Sun Yu and Yang Yongliang(sorted in aphabetical order) mostly utilise black and white or a single color. When watching their works from a distance there appears a serene surface but at a close distance, you will find abundant dramatic emotions and self-examination under the peaceful surface a feeling which is very similar to enjoying a wonderful silent picture.

The artists showing in this Summer Show includes not only our recently discovered young but with great potential artists like Sun Yu and Chen Xiaobing, also have artists who have already hold some exhibitions in FQ before like Chen Nong, IM JURI, Dai Mouyu and Wang Tingting.
Irrelevant: Sun Yu Oil Painting Solo Show

Irrelevant" is the first solo exhibition for the artist SUN Yu. "Irrelevant” is a monologue of the artist's inner world. While he questions the distance between each individual and society and answers this question with calm considered brush strokes perhaps in reality it is a process of self-analysis irrelevant to the society, values or current people's attitude.
People Around Us: Wang Dawei Oil Painting Solo Show

People Around Us will showcase two major oil paintings and a number of smaller works by young local artist Wang Dawei. This, his most recent body of work, explores the transformation in individuality forced upon us by industrialization and the so-called ‘Civilization of the Modern City’.
Dai Mouyu and Zhao Yadong: Sense & Scenario
